I am a studio-based abstract painter working primarily with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. My practice is process-driven and unfolds through sustained engagement with material, gesture, and revision rather than predetermined outcomes.

The work emerges through cycles of layering, erasure, and quiet looking, allowing form and structure to reveal themselves over time. I am interested in the moment when an image shifts from being constructed to being listened to — when restraint, clarity, and presence begin to guide the work.

While place, memory, and lived experience inform my practice, they do so indirectly. I am less concerned with representation than with how atmosphere, rhythm, and internal states register through surface, color, and spatial tension.

I live and work in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
